All Weekend Wedding at Autocamp Joshua Tree

A flash rainstorm delaying the ceremony gave way to a truly magnificent rainbow over their heads as they said their vows.

I’m not sure I’ve experienced anything quite this perfect.

Kayla + Elaine had a multi-day wedding weekend camping with their friends in Joshua Tree at the end of summer. They and their guests stayed in renovated Airstream suites placed throughout the desert, with their ceremony space in the middle of all of it. There was one long community table with string lights overhead and candles on the table for their reception. It felt intentional and warm, a real representation of this community of friends who traveled from quite literally halfway around the world to be together.

Folks were raucous and lovely. There were cheers, whoops, and big bear hugs. Cake and drinks and dancing, film cameras, comfy clothes, and a splash in the pool to cool off at the end of the night.
