Kimberly + Victor // Jackson Wyoming
Amangani - Grand Teton National Park
Jackson Hole, Wyoming -
Craggy, staggering peaks. A quiet river snaking through the valley. Grand Teton National Park is so unlike any other mountain range in the U.S., its young peaks rising from the flatland below. Geologically, it’s mysterious and striking. It feels more true to it’s Wild West roots than perhaps anywhere else. These mountains, inaccessible and foreboding as they are, continuously draw us in.
Kimberly + Victor decided on this place to finally elope, after a year of trying for a rescheduled wedding due to covid restrictions. Finally, they decided getting married to each other (however they safely could) was more important than any guest list or venue. They stayed at the Amangani resort high above Jackson Hole on a hill parallel to the Teton mountains.
Their ceremony was in a clearing next to the Snake River with the Tetons towering overhead. Kimberly’s father officiated their ceremony, they said their vows, tears were shed, and they all shared hugs and champagne to celebrate. Before retreating back to Amangani for dinner, we went for a drive through Grand Teton National Park to take photos at sunset.
Places like this are spiritual. It always feels like an immense privilege to witness something so special in a place like this. Thank you to Kimberly + Victor for having us along.
