Intimate Engagement Photos in Austin Texas
There is something simple and profound about the way these two love.
There's no denying that Nate and I love landscapes--epic sunsets, elopements in the desert, adventurous weddings on a mountain--all of these things sort of define our work to a degree. While we love shooting those things, lately there's part of us that craves the subtleties of understated moments. Maybe its just for a change of pace. Maybe its because of the phase of life we're in where all we want to do is slow down from the busy of everything going around us. Maybe its because we're coming up on three years married and we find ourselves settling into a more secure, simple type of love. Regardless of the reason, Hannah & Ryan's intimate love felt like a breath of fresh air, something so beautiful and poignant on its own. We talked about marriage and captured the way Hannah & Ryan fold into each other so naturally and unforced.
Hannah & Ryan have dealt with long-distance, where their only communication over international lines for months was adding songs to a Spotify playlist they shared and mailing hand-written notes to each other. Their connection is fierce and deeply spiritual. There aren't many couples who can say they told each other "I love you" on the first day they met. To me, it seems like these two were intricately intertwined before they even met--kindred spirits destined to find each other. That kind of love-story type of love doesn't come around often, and it was such a sweet reminder to us of how significant it is that Nate and I found each other too.
We can't wait for these two to be married in Maine this fall.
