palm springs wedding photography

the finest place for the most elevated of desert weddings

fancy, but fun.

palm springs is one of my all time favorite places to photograph. Living in the California desert, I’ve fallen in love with the types of people that this area draws, especially for weddings. It’s elevated, but not stuffy. A party, but not over the top. A place that makes people feel welcome no matter where they come from.

Best Wedding Venues in Palm SPrings

Palm Springs wedding venues are unlike anywhere else. From Old Hollywood vacation homes, funky boutique hotels, and desert garden locations – there are tons of wildly unique places to have a wedding in this area. Here are some of my faves!

Where to get Married in Palm Springs?

Low Dez

Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, and the surrounding areas have more options for accommodations, easier access to city amenities, and it’s simple to travel in. The Palm Springs airport is close to town! It’s also slightly more predictable in terms of weather.

High Dez

Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Twentynine Palms are considered high desert. Usually cooler in temp than Palm Springs and much more wild and rustic. If you’re going for something unique, remote, and adventurous, this is your spot.

Why I love Weddings in the desert

After years of full time travel I settled into a home in the high desert of California. I chose this area because after continued trips back to this same place, I knew I needed to live here. The landscapes, the dry air, the way this place draws artists of many kinds…it’s the perfect balance of a place that feels quiet and doesn’t require being hours from a city. It’s unique in that despite being a small town, it’s deeply connected to a rich cultural history. Everyday I wake up inspired here.

And I love sharing this place with the people who also love it. The desert isn’t for everyone, but the ones who feel it are really something unique.

If that’s you, I’d be honored to capture your story.
